Seeing such a tremendous interest in Russians to visit India, the Indian government has eased the Indian visa application system, by making it online.

This online system has allowed citizens of over 160 countries, including Russia, to apply for and receive an electronic form of India visa on their given email address. So, Russians can get an Indian visa just by using their fingertips on their laptop/computer or mobile.

The Russian tourists with an India visa electronic form can enter India from the following designated entry points:

  • Don’t talk to the people from suspicious and unknown organizations or agencies
  • Never, especially at night, go to unlit or dark areas alone.
  • Never give money or food to monks or beggars coming to you for it; you should ignore and stay from them, as they can be thieves or snatchers.
  • Never eat oily and fried food during your visit, as it may lead to digestive issues.
  • Avoid visiting India in the summer if you can’t bear its hot season.
  • Always have your valid Indian visa in your pocket or purse to show it when asked.
  • Always keep some cash in your pocket every time when out because most small shopkeepers and rural-people accept only cash.
  • Due to the cultural beliefs of Indians, don’t even try to kiss or hug your better half publicly or in family restaurants. And, wear modest clothes when visiting religious places, shrines, etc.
  • Don’t forget to remove your shoes or sleepers before entering religious places.
  • Stay in only widely-known and registered places with reliable, clean records and security systems.
